Wanting to get started in learning how to become a UI/UX designer and want to learn a library dedicated to rendering page UI? This LinkedIn Learning course is perfect to learn how to use React, fast!
As a part of my journey of independent learning with LinkedIn Learning, I followed along with “Learning React.js” course by Eve Porcello. By taking this course, I was able to learn how to more efficiently code UI and page elements in a JavaScript-based web app (simplifying my code). The best part: React.js is open source and this course will teach you how other companies use it.
Within this course, I learned the following:
- React is used by well-known products by companies such as Netflix, Spotify, Twitter, and Microsoft.
- React.js is a Java-Script (JS E6 Syntax) open source library produced by FaceBook.
- You can create a web app template with one line of code (an npx command in terminal).
- How to use CodeSandbox.io to deploy a Create React App, which is useful if you don’t want to get started in your own terminal.
- Babel makes JS Syntax easier to comprehend when reading (React)
For those who are not aware, LinkedIn Learning is an educational library that is inundated with countless helpful courses to learn new skills. You may be familiar with LinkedIn Learning if you have previous used Lynda tutorials.
